HOW TO PLAY
A day in Accra
Live with I or My life. Every new character starts with ₵100,000. Choose a public place on the opening map to start exploring. A nearby home is kept for your character. Apply for work, complete shifts, buy goods, cook groceries and furnish your home. Private homes need an owner-issued guest pass.
Roam with W A S D, arrow keys or the touch joystick. Hold Shift to run and use Q / R to turn. On touchscreens, use the left joystick to move, tap Run to switch pace, and drag the centre of the screen to look around. Portrait and landscape are both supported. Open ☰ for destinations, transport, camera settings and help. Hold the right mouse button and drag to look around; K changes camera distance.
Enter buildings at glowing doors with E or Interact. Walk inside, use furnishings, and return through the exit.
Drive nearby vehicles with F or the vehicle button. Buy a motorcycle in Shops and select it from Transport. Book airplane journeys at the marked game terminals. W accelerates, S brakes and reverses, A / D steer, and Space is the handbrake. Press V to see the driver's seat. Park and press F or E to get out.
Explore with N to choose a destination. While driving, choose Auto-drive 4×, Drive myself, or Skip to arrival before selecting a place. Change auto-drive speed up to 8× on the route card; steer or brake to take over. Stop and press F to park. M opens the full city map. Game sounds can be muted in ☰; H honks while driving.
Connect by tapping a player’s @handle to view their profile, add them as a friend or send a private message. Open Friends & messages in the menu or chat panel to find conversations. Use C or Chat for city chat. Use Voice chat to join the live voice circle; hold B to talk. T requests taxi or tro-tro pickup; K switches street/scenic cameras. Reverse away from obstacles or steer along them. Repeated vehicle theft attracts the police. Computer-controlled residents also walk the streets: approach one and press E to talk.
